What if there was a way to free yourself from the daily grind through a business endeavor that would allow you to become your own boss? But you aren’t quite sure what MLM marketing systems are, what they do and if they could work for you. A MLM marketing system, or Network Marketing, is a business model where a parent company markets its products directly to consumers through direct selling and referrals. Independent sales people -- also called managers, owners, independent agents etc. -- sell goods for the parent company and earn a commission on each of the products sold.

But as the old saying goes, all that glitters ain’t gold, and it’s difficult to distinguish between a proven system that will follow through on its claims and those that don’t. But don’t fret; there are a number of ways to distinguish between legitimate and illegitimate MLM marketing systems. In legitimate MLM marketing systems, you earn commission selling the company’s products, not from sign-up fees or getting new recruits. If a MLM marketing system requires you to buy more inventory than you are likely to sell, it’s probably illegitimate. Also, see if the MLM marketing system passes the “70% rule.” The 70% rule requires sellers to sell 70% of their inventory before placing new orders. If your MLM marketing system doesn’t follow this rule, again, it’s probably illegitimate.

If your MLM marketing system passes the test, then it’s something that you should consider to start growing your own business today. A successful MLM marketing system could net a motivated self-starter thousands of dollars in income. But to be successful, you must be willing to put in the time to learn the system in order to become knowledgeable about how everything works.

You also have to believe in your MLM marketing system above all other MLM marketing systems -- if you don’t believe in it, chances are no one else will either. When you believe in your system, your energy radiates to others and they are inspired to join your endeavor.
